Our vision on building relationships is described in this book about
the management of relationships
Protocol to Manage Relationships Today: Modern Relationship Management Based Upon Traditional Values (Amsterdam University Press, 2020) explains the value of protocol, not only for Monarchies or diplomatic institutes but for every non-profit or for-profit organisation. The book presents protocol as a method to build strong authentic networks of reciprocal relationships.

In essence, protocol has always been about optimising relationships by maximising personal attention and systemising logistics. Protocol enables the staging of the personal encounter. In a world where personal attention has become scarce and technology a facilitator for rules and procedures, protocol management provides us with a unique vision in which personal time is the greatest good we can give to someone. It is the modern currency of relationships.
Protocolbureau provides support for the (further) development of a professional relationship management. Our expertise guarantees that the relationship with the most valued stakeholders is strengthened.
Our vision on building relationships is described in our books Protocol to Manage Relationships Today: Modern Relationship Management Based Upon Traditional Values and Managing Authentic Relationships; Facing New Challenges in a Changing Context, published by Amsterdam University Press.
This vision is also a topic at our training programmes in Amsterdam, Brussels, Doha and The Hague; learn how to use protocol to strengthen professional relationships and become the relationship management expert of your organisation.

Protocolbureau;
founded in 1996
Protocolbureau was founded in 1996 by students of the Hotelschool The Hague university. Our first assignment was the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Awards to His Majesty the King of Spain. In preparation of the awards ceremony the Master of Ceremonies of Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands gave us a lecture about protocol and a few years later he asked us to assist him at the Royal Weddings and State Funerals in The Netherlands. Protocolbureau became a leading protocol expert.
